‘I adored Jane’s work as soon as I saw it on her Instagram account. It was during lockdown I think, perhaps just before or just after. I knew I wanted a piece - a small painting, to sit in my writing room. But I wanted a very specific piece. I explained in woefully poetic terms what I was looking for and Jane quiet brilliantly sent me different examples - all were beautiful but one, the one I look at everyday was perfect. The back and forth between us spanned a good few weeks. After choosing the piece the buying and receiving part was simple and straightforward. The piece is so beautiful.’

‘I have bought several pieces of original art from Jane, including a commission I asked her to do of my house. I absolutely love all my pieces and they bring me so much joy. It was during covid that I really wanted to have lovely art work in my home to look at so I invested in a few.

Jane is a delight to deal with, she answered my queries straight away and was always helpful.

My beautiful art works always arrive in tissue and are lovingly wrapped in brown paper and cardboard, ensuring they arrive safe and sound with no damage. I love the little handwritten notes Jane puts on my purchases, a really personal touch.

I love all my pieces but my favourites are from the "Golden Apples" series.

It is all still life or landscape, painted loosely, but with vivid colour, as in the still-life willow Pattern Spring Blossom, or in Ultramarine Sky and Apple Blossom. She also chimes with Henry Kondracki, however, in lovely ink drawings of Edinburgh, such as Edinburgh Blizzard, Bruntsfield Looking East, or Winter Evening Walk Edinburgh.”
